 As a part of our Young Artists' Initiative, Media Context will create an animated pilot of Shrine Search, a fantasy-adventure project that its partners and students have co-created. Auditions for voice actors will begin in 2020. Shrine Search stars Zephyr Goldfinger (voiced by Jack Broadbent), a young navigator who is training to join an accomplished guild of adventurers. Joined by four other cadets, Zeph is tasked to explore hidden shrines and recover the mystical artefacts that they contain. We will be opening auditions for our main cast and side characters in January 2020. VAs on our mailing list will receive personalised notifications once our auditions are open. This project is currently in its pre-production stage. Together with Story Sight Studio, a media production house who we work closely with, our students have completed concept art, a script and a trailer. They are currently working on a pilot that will be used for internal pitching purposes. Students will exhibit their work in private showcases to our network of executives. Our list of contacts includes representatives from the Walt Disney Company, Turner Broadcasting System, Nickelodeon, and other reputable organisations.
