​A maritime expedition takes a deadly turn when its crew unleashes a beast that threatens to sink their facility.
 
Rick and Beatrice are training to become marine biologists. In order to graduate, they must complete an internship in the Tidal Headquarters, a renowned research settlement that’s specifically built to study marine life.
 
At first, Rick and Beatrice are ecstatic to explore the depths of the ocean. However, their expedition takes a deadly turn when their excavation tools hit an underwater cave, and they unleash a beast that is far more dangerous than the ones they have previously encountered.

Headstrong and brave, Rick is a scientist with an insatiable thirst for adventure. Optimistic and spirited, he embraces his challenges with open arms. Unfortunately, this causes him to run headfirst into difficult situations without considering the consequences of his actions.

Intelligent and cautious, Beatrice always has a plan for action. She calculates every risk before she approaches her challenges, and her rational mind has led her to make wise decisions. Despite her strengths, Beatrice isn’t very good at thinking on the spot, and her anxiety gets the best of her when she’s stranded without a back-up plan.
