As a part of our Young Artists' Initiative, MediaContex will work with its partners to create a pilot of an audiodrama of our students' original idea:
Synopsis
In order to rid herself of her unwanted guest, Carly learns that she must complete his “unfinished business”. From unclogging his grandmother’s clogged toilet, to bathing his aunt’s rabid chihuahua, Carly is forced to complete a bucket list that is designed to torture her.
At first, Carly assumes that these are just meaningless chores. However, as time passes, she discovers that there are deeper aspects to his list.
From informing his little sister of the college fund he opened under her name, to delivering a letter of apology to his estranged father, Carly gradually develops a heart for the people she meets. To make things stranger, she questions if she would be ready when it’s time to say goodbye.
