We're adding a module about animation to our Young Artists' Initiative Program. Together with award-winning animation studios, students will learn to use animation software, such as Live2D and Toonboom, to create characters for games and clips.
Our students will learn about the fundamentals of character design, movement, and basic animation. They will also learn how to direct and produce their own animated scenes, which may appear in the interactive games that they are currently developing. Students will collaborate with our award-winning partners in the animation industry, such as Dee Dee Animation, to work on industry-level projects. This year's batch of students will be involved in the production of The Archmage Legacy, an interactive visual novel that we have developed as a part of our Studios and Creators' Outreach program.
Animated previews produced with Live2D characters Students will be creating new story arcs during this module, which will be included in the interactive games that the Young Artist Initiative has previously developed. They will also continue to organise regular auditions for their games, and produce game previews to show their progress. VA DirectoryWant to try out for more characters?
