As a part of our Young Artists' Initiative, MediaContex will work with its partners to create a pilot of an audiodrama of our students' original idea:
Synopsis
On a daring whim, Sophia packs her bags, and flies halfway across the world to meet the sister she has never known. Although she hopes to remain with her twin, Gracie's conservative family has other plans for her life. Will they find a way to stay together, or will reality separate them once more?

Spirited and bold, Sophia is a teenager who hopes for the best, and will go the distance to achieve her dreams. Her optimism will be tested on her journey to find her sister, which will require her to overcome several obstacles to stay with her twin.

- (Neutral) I'll be fine, mom. We'll see each other in two weeks.
- (Surprised) Gracie? I-is that you?
- (Sad) Gracie and I were put up for adoption at birth. I didn't even know I had a twin until I was twelve.
- (Angry) You can't do this! I didn't fly halfway across the world to be turned away!
ryan
Gender: Male
Accent: Standard American is preferred, but not compulsory. You may audition with any accent you choose.
Ryan, Sophia's loyal boyfriend, tags along on her trip across the world. Although he admires Sophia's spirited nature, he is afraid that her childlike optimism will lead her into danger, and decides to accompany her on her adventure.

- (Neutral) Our flight's at nine. We should leave now if we want to make it on time.
- (Happy) Sophia, this is it. We found the place!
- (Curious) Sophia mentioned that she received a message from you. How did you find her?
- (Angry) They're sisters! They spent fifteen years looking for each other. You can't pull them apart.

FAQ
Each project has its own budget, requirements, and plans for distribution. If you are cast for any of these roles, you'll be contacted by our casting representative, and will be able to negotiate your rates with them.
If you are cast, your clips will be used for internal pitching purposes. If you are cast, our students will use your clips to create pilot episodes, which will be showcased to our network of producers.
Your audition clips will not be used without your permission.
If this project generates enough funding and support from our network, we will broadcast our pilot materials to the public. Until then, selected voice actors will be paid for their work, and they will be credited in our internal pitching materials.
We are generating pilot materials for internal pitching purposes, and are currently unable to publicly disclose the cast list.

If a character has a "Standard American" accent, we'd like you to use a typical General American accent for all of your lines.

You're welcome to submit 1-3 takes per line. Compile all of your takes for each line into a single file.
Label each line according to their line number. If there are four lines for your character, you should have four files in total.
