As a part of our Young Artists' Initiative, MediaContex will work with its partners to create a pilot of an audiodrama of our students' original idea:
Synopsis
In order to cement his position as the new king of Kalexis, the Usurper threatens to kill sixteen-year-old Alexander, the queen’s only son and true heir to the throne. This treacherous plan is foiled by the Coldfire Insurgence, a group of revolutionaries who are sworn to protect the young monarch.
Although Alexander is stripped of his crown, title and security, he has not lost his love for his homeland. With the help of his allies, he must evade his uncle’s soldiers, and build an army that can help him reclaim his throne.

Although Alexander’s chivalry is admirable, his kindness makes him gullible. As a result, he is susceptible to his uncle’s attempts to capture him. Lines:

Giselle
|
Gender: Female
Age: 20 Accent: Standard American is preferred, but not compulsory. You may audition with any accent you choose. Giselle, a member of the late queen’s entourage, once served as a lady in waiting. Faithful and compassionate, she is loyal to the queen’s only son.
Resourceful and brave, she aids Alexander’s escape from the castle and swears to defend him from the Usurper’s armies. Although Giselle is not a trained fighter, she dons an armor and wields a sword to protect her liege. Lines:

Gender: Male
Age: 30 Accent: Standard American is preferred, but not compulsory. You may audition with any accent you choose. Griffin, a soldier who served the late queen, defied the kingdom’s Usurper by aiding Prince Alexander’s escape. Although the Usurper’s armies are full of his former allies, Griffin remains adamant in his mission to protect the prince.
Courageous and stalwart, Griffin will risk his life to defend his friends. Despite his loyalty, his inflated ego prevents him from accepting their help in dangerous situations. Lines:

Elvira
|
Gender: Female
Age: 30 Accent: Standard American is preferred, but not compulsory. You may audition with any accent you choose. Brutal and devious, Elvira is a powerful magician who helped the Usurper to dethrone the royal family. As the Usurper’s royal sorcerer, Elvira has command over his soldiers and councilmen.
Eventually, she plans to turn the Usurper’s armies against him, and claim the kingdom for her own. Blinded by ambition and arrogance, Elvira may not realise that she’s the one who will be betrayed. Lines:

FAQ
Each project has its own budget, requirements, and plans for distribution. If you are cast for any of these roles, you'll be contacted by our casting representative, and will be able to negotiate your rates with them.
If you are cast, your clips will be used for internal pitching purposes. If you are cast, our students will use your clips to create pilot episodes, which will be showcased to our network of producers.
Your audition clips will not be used without your permission.
If this project generates enough funding and support from our network, we will broadcast our pilot materials to the public. Until then, selected voice actors will be paid for their work, and they will be credited in our internal pitching materials.
We are generating pilot materials for internal pitching purposes, and are currently unable to publicly disclose the cast list.

You're welcome to submit 1-3 takes per line. Compile all of your takes for each line into a single file.
Label each line according to their line number. If there are four lines for your character, you should have four files in total.
